Bought new in Sept 2005. Had every option available for the LX, and was over $30k. Got a really great deal and have loved the car. We live 45 miles outside of DC and average 22-23mpg mixed driving, and 26-28mpg highway. You can ride all day and never get tired. Very smooth ride. Use the cruise control on the highway or you will find yourself going well over the speed limit it is so smooth and effortless. It still amazes me how much you can get into the trunk. At 21 cubic feet, it is huge! If you can find someone willing to part with theirs, buy it. You wont be disappointed.

I have had this car for an year. Not a thing wrong with it, nor did anything go wrong. The ride is out of this world. The power is great. Not an hot rod but can hold its own. I just love this car.

The Crown Vic runs great. It has a lot of passing power on the mountains and easily passes any foreign competition. It gets good gas mileage and has given me no problems despite being driven up and down mountains daily. The car is always ready to pass when needed and offers great comfort for my 6 foot 2" frame. The car is the most reliable car I have ever had. I hope Ford will continue this basic car for many more years. I tried the new 300c and it cost more and has less visibility and not much more get up and go even with the Hemi. For the money, the Ford Crown Vic is the best car money can buy.

Nice smooth, quiet ride. Comfortable seats, easy to reach controls and responsive to steering.

Great big car ride and quality without the big price tag. What a value! Suspension and performance package makes it perfect.

  • I absolutely love this vehicle. - 2005 Ford Crown Victoria

I absolutely love this vehicle. I bought it from a good friend of the family. It only had 19,000 miles on it. I love this car a lot. It is the most comfortable car, seats are just amazing. Best ride ever, eats up the bumps and potholes excellent. Has a lot of power, never have trouble getting car up to speed. I also love the steering on this car, for such a big car, it handles amazing. Also the gas mileage just shocked me to death. For a full size rear wheel drive with a V-8, on the highway i get 27 mpg, mixed driving i get 23 mpg. The only thing I was worried about was driving it in the snow, but it doesnt handle that bad in the snow. I am only 20 years old. Im shocked how much I like it.

Well built; they improve it every year. The "old" platform makes it a great value and it makes for a quality car because Ford has all the "bugs" out of it. It does have one minor wind noise in the driver side window, however. If you arent a car snob, this is a car to look at, and you cant beat the price.

Have owned several imports and would say I enjoy driving. The LX Sport is one of the best kept secrets out there. It is quick and with the handling package it corners like a lighter sportier import. 5 Star safety rating is a strong plus. Rear impact issues that used to haunt this model are mostly corrected. Car really likes to cruise and loves curves. Exceptional brakes!

My Chrismas present was a 2005 Crown Victoria LX, was a perfect gift for my brother and I, its perfect on trips, in the city of Philly. These cars are very easy to maintain and friendly on regular gas. These cars a very easy to supercharge ( if you like racing ) Other than that no major problem, smooth rides and great trunk space

The Ford Crow Victoria is virtually indestructable. Used by law enforcement around the world. It is well built, comfortable to ride in and drive. Excellent visibility with good handling for a large car. If Ford Motors discontinues this one theyre crazy. I am decidedly one sided and will buy another when the urge hits. Till then, Im happy with what I have and hope Ford Motors will continue the excellent work.
